Festival Mze Moe
At Tusheti National Park, by the organization of the Agency of Protected Areas, festival Mze Moe had been held, dedicated to touristic season opening. In the frame of the festival, local handicraft sales-exhibition, Tushetian cuisine degustation, traditional games, horse racing, concert with the participation of group MADLI, Lela Tataraidze, and group KESANE had been held, where together with tourists, approximately 50 villagers took part in it. The event had been attended by the Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources of Georgia Gigla Agulashvili, Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili, Ambassador of Czech Republic to Georgia Tomas Pernicky, representatives of Georgian National Tourism Administration, donor organizations and local government. Ambassador of Czech Republic to Georgia Tomas Pernicky transferred ambulance car to Akhmeta Municipality. Festival Mze Moe had been held by the support of Czech Development Agency, Czech caritas, GIZ, CNF and TJS.
