Kolkheti National Park Welcomes Visitors with Enhanced Infrastructure

Recent efforts by the Agency have resulted in various rehabilitation works within the protected areas, specifically focusing on the renovation of the bird-watching tower, picnic area, and ranger station, in addition to improving the courtyard of the visitor center. Ongoing refurbishment of the cottage in the Pichori River valley is currently underway.

Kolkheti National Park is renowned as one of the most exceptional destinations in Georgia, attracting a considerable number of tourists. The Agency of Protected Areas consistently prioritizes the development of Kolkheti National Park, with a keen focus on both nature preservation and the promotion of ecotourism. It is noteworthy that Kolkheti National Park was inscribed on the UNESCO World Natural Heritage list in 2021.
