Kolkheti Protected Areas Development Fund - Tender

Kolkheti Protected Areas Development Fund announces a tender for the provision of the following services and products:

1. Monitoring program of Black Sea Cetacea.
2. Monitoring program of hydrological regime.

The following is a summary of the activities carried out by the Fund in August and September 2013.

1. Implemented tenders:

1.1  On August 16, 2013, the Fund purchased 2 cars (off-road pick-ups) through a tendering process.

1.2  On September 5, 2013, the Fund purchased 7 cars (off-road Jeeps) through a tendering process.

2. Signed agreements: 

2.1 On September 27, 2013, an agreement was signed with biodiversity conservation and research center NACRES to provide a monitoring system for mammals (cost 4,800 Gel).

2.2 On September 30, 2013, an agreement was signed with LTD Zakhar to provide ornithological equipment (cost 5,640 Gel).

3. Planned tenders and estimated dates of announcement:

3.1. Reconstruction works of Kolkheti National Park Administrative Building and Visitor Center – October 2013;

3.2 Implementation of monitoring system for ringing center activities on river Churia – October 2013;

3.3. Construction works: Lighting, packing the façade of warehouses with wooden construction – November 2013;

3.4. Provision of electronic database of biodiversity – November 2013;

3.5. Construction works: roadway paving, planting, fence-gate, lighting, packing the façade of warehouses with wooden construction of Administrative yard arrangement – November 2013; 

3.6. Kobuleti PA Visitor Center project, visitors’ paths and watching tower – December 2013.
