Tusheti Protected Areas

 

Tusheti National Park was closed until the next tourist season

Tusheti Protected Areas are located in the Akhmeta municipality, Kakheti region and include Tusheti Strict Nature Reserve, Tusheti National Park and Tusheti Protected Landscape.

Visitor center: Village Kvemo Omalo, Tusheti

Tusheti Protected Areas combine 11 routes which include various complexity 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 day trails.Visitors have an opportunity to choose appropriate tours for them on rich historical-cultural and natural landscape territories, such as  hiking, biking, horse riding, cultural tours, birdwatching and bezoars goat watching tours.

  • Conference hall (24 persons): 1 hr- 20Gel; 1 day - 100 Gel;
  • Picnic area: 1 Picnic table - 15 Gel; Pupils, professional colleges and university students: 10 Gel
  • Camp site: Per person - 5 Gel
  • Bicycle: 1hr - 10Gel; Pupils, professional colleges and university students: 5 Gel; 1 day - 40 Gel; Pupils, professional colleges and university students: 20 Gel 

 

 

Tourist season lasts from June to October.

  • watching bezoars goat is possible during the whole season

Notice:

Transportation from Kvemo Alvani to Omalo is possible only by off road vehicle.
