Agency of Protected Areas organized an info tour at Vashlovani Protected Areas, where employees of Georgian National Tourism Administration and tour operators took part. They introduced infrastructure and services, also employees of the Agency of Protected Areas held a presentation about Vashlovani Protected Areas. Participants visited Mijniskure, Takhtitepa mud volcanoes, and Khornabuji fortress. Vashlovani Protected Areas are located in the extreme south-east of Georgia in Dedoplistskaro district). Vashlovani is distinguished from Georgia’s other protected areas by its semi-desert ecosystem.
