In the frame of the project Expansion of Protected Areas at Adjara Region and its Management Effectiveness Improvement, chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili attended a meeting.

The meeting aimed Kintrishi, Mtirala, and Machakhela Protected Areas’ tourism development strategy’s main directions, missions and also actions discussion, which strategy and action plan should be taken into account were discussed too.

Discussion had been held about strategic directions and effective methods of major tasks Implementation.   

The meeting had been held at Adjara Tourism Department and had been attended by the representatives of Kobuleti and Khelvachauri municipalities, administration of Adjara protected areas, non-governmental organizations, and environmental projects’ members.

The project is being implemented by UNDP and by the financial support of GEF.
