Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili and WWF representation’s director Giorgi Sanadiradze held a meeting with local municipalities Governor and Gubernators in Racha.

The meeting aimed strategic direction discussions, in order to create Protected Areas in Racha region. The aim of Protected Areas creation is biodiversity and ecosystems protection and maintenance. Protected Areas creation in Racha will facilitate tourism development. In the frame of the project, for local population, small grants delivery will be implemented.
