National Parks Georgia Unveils Bold New Brand Identity and Modern Visual Language

The Agency of Protected Areas (APA) of Georgia has officially announced a comprehensive rebranding of its primary communication brand, ‘’National Parks Georgia’’. This strategic transformation marks a new milestone in the agency's ongoing mission to promote the nation’s spectacular nature and eco-tourism services, aligning the brand with modern international standards.

The communication brand "National Parks Georgia" was originally developed by the Agency nine years ago. Since its inception, it has served as the frontline vehicle for showcasing the country’s natural wonders to the world. This current rebranding is a natural evolution of that 9-year journey-refining a successful concept to meet contemporary digital and visual demands.

Shifting to '’National Parks Georgia'’ In a significant strategic move to modernize its international presence, the Agency has officialized a shift in the English-language brand name. Moving away from the traditional, longer phrasing "National Parks of Georgia," the prefix "of" has been intentionally removed.

The new official designation, "National Parks Georgia," represents a more direct, impactful, and digitally optimized brand name. This streamlined structure aligns with global contemporary branding trends, creating a punchier, memorable identity that effortlessly integrates with modern communication channels, digital platforms, and international marketing campaigns.

Central to this rebranding is the introduction of a striking new visual asset. The newly designed logo seamlessly blends traditional values of security and preservation with an elegant, minimalist aesthetic.

The logo features an abstract representation of a tree rendered in a sophisticated bas-relief style, which is elegantly enclosed within a protective shield.
• The Shield:Symbolizes the agency's core institutional mission-protection, security, and the unbreakable commitment to conserving Georgia's natural ecosystems.
• The Bas-Relief Tree: Celebrates the nation's diverse flora, deep-rooted history, and organic growth, presented through clean, geometric, and abstract forms that evoke a sense of timelessness and balance.
• The Color Palette: Utilizing a deep, organic forest green, the visual identity grounds the brand in nature, representing sustainability, life, and environmental responsibility.
