On 13th of June, heavy rain caused river Vere and river Mtkvari swell, that was followed by flood and landslide. Disaster damaged city Tbilisi and its surroundings. The rangers of Tbilisi National Park and Algeti National Park together with the other employees of the Agency were actively involved in cleaning activities. In order to make charity steps, LEPL Agency of Protected Areas will transfer 5000 Gel to the Ministry of Finance’s State Treasury’s exclusively opened account. The Agency is ready to support victims and will continue their support if it is necessary in future too.
