Racha and Erusheti Protected Areas’ establishment

At hotel Radisson Blu Iveria, project presentation had been held about Racha and Erusheti Protected Areas establishement.
The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia, Agency of Protected Areas and World Wildlife Fund.
World Wildlife Fund will held basic research till 2018 year, in the frame of obtained grant. The aim of Racha and Erusheti Protected Areas creation is its eco-system defense and maintance, protected areas establishment at Central Caucasus region that will facilitate international obligations fulfilment.
Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia Gigla Agulashvili, Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Lasha Moistsrapishvili and other representatives of donor organizations addressed to the audience.
The project is being implemented by the financial support of BMZ.
