The award ceremony for the winners of the competition “Protected Areas and Climate Change” was held within the framework of the project “I Protect My Country’s Nature,” organized by the Agency of Protected Areas.
Students living near protected areas from various regions of the country took part in the competition. They presented essays, drawings, photographs, and posters reflecting the importance of nature conservation and their perspectives on climate change.
The winners were selected from among students living near protected areas in Imereti, Guria, Kvemo Kartli, Racha, and Martvili.
At the end of the event, participants visited Navenakhevi Cave, where they learned on-site about the unique underground natural environment and its significance.
