The delegation of the Agency of Protected Areas visited the Republic of Korea to exchange experience and learn about best practices.
During the visit, the delegation members toured Bukhansan and Seoraksan National Parks, where they became acquainted with modern management approaches, biodiversity conservation measures, ecotourism development practices, and climate change monitoring initiatives.
As part of the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the Korea National Park Service (KNPS). Discussions focused on the long-standing successful cooperation between the two agencies and future plans for collaboration. The parties exchanged views on satellite monitoring systems, innovative visitor management practices, mechanisms for disaster risk and safety management, as well as programs aimed at the restoration of endangered species.
