First Aid Training Course

On February 18, 2014, under the initiative of the Agency of Protected Areas and Environmental Information and Education Center, the Medical Company Medsecort conducted training course in the basics of the First Aid for the employees of Tusheti PA, Lagodekhi PA and Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park.

During the summer season, thousands of local, as well as international tourists visit Protected Areas and their safety is a high priority of the visitor’s specialists and other employees of PA Administrations. As a result of today’s training, the staff of territorial administrations will acquire the necessary first aid skills and in case of emergency will be able to provide the qualified medical assistance on time.

This type of trainings are planned to be conducted for the employees of other PA administrations as well, which will help the service personnel to enhance their qualification and will make the stay of visitors of the National Parks even more secure.
