Tour for volunteer photographers to Lagodekhi Protected Area

The Agency of Protected Areas of Georgia is organizing a tour to Lagodekhi Protected Areas for volunteer photographers. The aim of tour is to collect the one hundred best pictures taken by the tour participants in Lagodekhi P.A. Selected pictures will be donated to the Agency for further use, with copyright protection – photos will be attributed to the original artist whenever they are used.   

Furthermore, in September this year, the Lagodekhi Nature Reserve celebrates its 101st anniversary and the event will most likely be held within the Area’s administration territory. The chosen pictures will be displayed during the exhibition as a part of the event.  

Photographers participating in the tour are requested to take photos of the following types:

• Macro shots
• Landscape
• Panoramic shots
• Healthy lifestyle
• Biodiversity (plants, animals, insects, birds)

Location - Lagodekhi Protected Areas

Dates - August 23-25, 2013

Itinerary:

August 23, Friday: Tbilisi – Lagodekhi – Meteo Station (overnight at the Meteo Hut);

August 24, Saturday: Meteo Station – Lake Shavi Kldeebi (overnight in tents);

August, 25, Sunday: Lake Shavi Kldeebi - Tbilisi

 Tour participants will be provided with transportation, meals, guides, overnight and luggage horses.              

 Note: Participants must have work experience, personal professional camera equipment, as well as agreeing to contribute any and all pictures taken during the tour to the Agency of Protected Areas.
