Cycling Tour - Lake Ilia – Lagodekhi Protected Areas
On August 25th, 2013, the Agency of Protected Areas is organizing a one-day cycling tour from Lake Ilia to the Lagodekhi Protected Areas. This is a symbolic tour, dedicated to the 101-year anniversary of the establishment of Lagodekhi Nature Reserve. It also seeks to promote the value of having a healthy lifestyle society. All amateur cyclists are welcome to participate.
Tour agenda:
Sunday, August 25th:
08:00 Tbilsi – Kvareli (Lake Ilia). A bus will provide transportation.
11:00 Lake Ilia – Lagodekhi Protected Areas. 45 km cycling tour. Picnic lunch en route.
18:00 Lagodekhi Protected Areas – Tbilisi; A bus will provide transportation.
Tour participants must have their own bicycles and should have enough experience to manage cycling long distances.
A spacious and comfortable bus will provide transportation for participants and their bicycles. Picnic lunches will also be provided.
