In 2025, rangers of the Agency of Protected Areas detected 283 cases of violations within Georgia's protected areas.

The detected violations consist of prohibited activities within protected areas, including illegal logging, hunting, fishing, carrying firearms, and illegal grazing.

Nearly 500 rangers patrol Georgia's protected areas 24/7 to protect our country's nature.

For effective monitoring and rapid response, rangers utilize modern technologies - such as SMART systems, camera traps, and thermal drones - which significantly increase the capability for prevention and timely detection of violations.
