Organized by the Agency of Protected Areas, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the "Protected Areas and Climate Change" competition under the project "I Protect My Country's Nature."
Students living adjacent to protected areas across various regions of the country participated in the competition. They submitted essays, drawings, photos, and posters reflecting the importance of nature conservation and their perspective on climate change.
The winners were selected among students residing in the areas neighboring the Imereti, Guria, Kvereti, Racha, and Martvili protected areas.
At the conclusion of the event, participants toured Navenakhevi Cave, where they explored the unique underground natural environment firsthand and learned about its significance.
