An effective communication manual is being created for the rangers of the Agency of Protected Areas
An effective communication manual is being created for the rangers of the Agency of Protected Areas.
A meeting was held to review the draft version of the manual.
Effective management of protected areas relies on both the conservation of the natural environment and successful communication with the local population and visitors, where rangers play a vital role. The manual is based on real work experiences and practical examples, which serve as the foundation for formulating relevant recommendations.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that effective communication with stakeholders and the implementation of modern conflict management approaches are among the most crucial prerequisites for the sustainable operation of protected areas.
Relevant experts are involved in the development of the manual. The document is being created with the support of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF).
