Rangers of the Agency of Protected Areas Undergo Training in Drone Operation

Organized by the Environmental Information and Education Centre, the three-day training program titled "Use of Drones in Monitoring and Supervision Processes" aims to enhance rangers' knowledge and practical skills in operating Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), which will significantly improve the efficiency of monitoring and supervision processes across protected areas.

During the training, special emphasis was placed on integrating modern technologies into practice to enable rangers to monitor large and hard-to-reach areas more quickly and accurately, promptly detect potential violations, fire hotspots, and other environmental risks, as well as conduct systematic observations of wildlife and biodiversity.

Program participants acquired both theoretical and practical knowledge regarding drone operation principles, control systems, safety rules, applicable legal regulations, and the use of modern technologies.

The program aims to promote the integration of modern technologies into the efficient management of protected areas and to improve the quality of environmental monitoring.
