The final event of the project "I Protect My Country's Nature" was held in Tbilisi National Park.
Within the framework of the project, young people living near Georgia's protected areas had the opportunity to participate in a competition and submit works on the topic "I Protect My Country's Nature" in the form of an essay, photograph, or drawing.
The project ran throughout the entire year with the active involvement of the territorial administrations of the Agency of Protected Areas. Numerous eco-educational activities, informative meetings, and field trips were organized for the participants across various protected areas in Georgia, helping them gain a better understanding of the importance of nature conservation.
At the final event, the competition participants and winners were awarded special certificates and symbolic gifts.
The aim of the project is to raise environmental awareness among youth, promote a culture of nature conservation, strengthen ecological responsibility, and deepen knowledge regarding the importance of protected areas.
