A visitor center and recreational infrastructure will be arranged in Tana Managed Reserve.

To develop visitor services and ecotourism opportunities in Tana Managed Reserve, new infrastructure will be set up. The project includes the planning and construction of an administrative building and visitor center, as well as the development of ecotourism and recreational infrastructure.

Plans for the territory include setting up a network of hiking trails, picnic and camping areas, campfire spots, tourist shelters, and ranger stations. Infrastructure development will support the improvement of visitor services and create a comfortable, safe, and attractive environment for traveling in Tana Managed Reserve.

The project is being implemented with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Development Bank (KfW).

Tana Managed Reserve is located in Gori Municipality, approximately 100 kilometers from the capital city. The territory is distinguished by its unique biodiversity, diverse landscapes, and rich historical and cultural heritage.
