LEPL Agency of Protected Areas

The Agency of Protected Areas participated in the international tourism exhibition COITM 2026 in Beijing.

Within the framework of the exhibition, an international audience learned about the ecotourism and adventure opportunities of Georgia's national parks; the opportunity to explore Georgia's national parks using virtual reality headsets generated particular interest.

Over the course of three days, the exhibition hosted international representatives from the tourism sector. The event featured presentations, panel discussions, and B2B meetings, which facilitated the establishment of professional connections and the discussion of future cooperation opportunities.

Promoting Georgia's national parks in the Chinese tourism market will contribute to raising awareness of the country's ecotourism potential, deepening international partnerships, and attracting international visitors.
