The Agency of Protected Areas continues the process of enhancing professional skills and retraining for its staff

The Agency of Protected Areas continues the process of enhancing professional skills and retraining for its staff.

Within this framework, staff members of the Machakhela Protected Areas Administration underwent training in conflict management.

The training modules are based on an effective communication handbook developed for rangers, which takes into account the practical experience of protected areas personnel and the daily challenges encountered in their work. The course covers practical approaches to identifying and preventing conflict situations, effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution. The training sessions are conducted with the support of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF).

Recently, staff from the Pshav-Khevsureti, Batsara-Babaneuri, Vashlovani, Racha, Kolkheti, Kobuleti, and Kintrishi protected areas administrations have also completed this course.

To support the professional development of personnel and foster effective communication across protected areas, these training sessions will continue in the future.
