UNESCO Project
Project
The project aimed to implement a Cash for Work initiative, which involved employing local residents in protected areas to improve their economic conditions and develop infrastructure.
Within the framework of the project, a study visit to wetlands in Germany was conducted, during which staff of the Agency of Protected Areas learned about best practices in management and governance. Representatives of territorial administrations received training from an international expert on the management of UNESCO sites. Local residents also had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills on various environmental topics.
