Erusheti National Park is a protected area established in 2021, located in the Akhaltsikhe and Aspindza municipalities. This protected area is important from a regional point of view, as it borders the Potskhovi River Reserve in Turkey for approximately 38 km, which opens up new prospects for transboundary cooperation. Such transboundary cooperation is important for the existence of a single habitat, the preservation of important animal species, and the protection of special flora species. The creation of Erusheti National Park will significantly contribute to the development of tourism in the region and the strengthening of the socio-economic level of the local population.
