Navenakhevi Cave

 Due to weather conditions, the Prometheus Cave is closed to visitors on December 18th.

The Nvenakhevi Cave is located in Terjola municipality, near to Navenkhevi village.

Visitor's Centre:  Navenakhevi village.

The Navenakhevi cave is exceptional with its structure that involves two floors with four cave halls which in total represents 250m height. Moreover, the cave has beautifully shaped stalagmites and stalactites. 30m from the entrance the cave splits into two parts. The second floor is connected to the hall with small steps. The cave does not have the exit due to the massive stalagmite.

Entrance fees:

  • Tickets under 6 years old children for free

  • Ticket from 6 to 18 years old people - 5.50 GEL

  • Ticket for citizens of Georgia and rezidents, except people under 18 years old - 8 GEL
    You should have ID with you!

  • For foreigners, except people under 18 years old - 11.50 GEL

  • During pupils or students visit period of time, one school or college teacher has free visit

  • Guides of tourist agencies are allowed to viist the territory for free in the case os signed agreement between the tourist agency and Agency of Protected Areas

Action: Navenakhevi Cave offers visitors an early-bird price till 1st of January, 2019. The entrance fee for all types of visitors is 6 Gel.

How to get there:

Nearest large settlement to Navenakhevi cave is Kutaisi City, which is 230km far away from Tbilisi and needs three hours to travel by car.

Navenakhevi cave is located 7km far away from Kutaisi central highway, duration of trip 15 minutes.

You can enjoy tours whole year round
